- The Marigold System is a aerobic composting bin that ensures that the process of composting takes place under natural conditions.
- The Marigold composter has been designed to optimize aerobic composting by retaining heat, allowing natural aeration and letting in sunlight to absorb solar heat.
- The food waste turns into compost within 12-14 days post which it is cured for about 24 days.
- The closed system also ensures that no shed is necessary for the main composter unit. (though a shed is needed for shredder and the curing box)
- While the leachate tray helps in collecting excess moisture, it also acts as an indicator of excess moisture. Thus, it helps in running the process more efficiently. If there is leachate in the tray, more dry organic matter needs to be added

The Marigold Aerobic Composter is a Food waste composting solution for organic waste streams. The Marigold system ensures process stability through its unique design which retains heat and allows natural aeration.
The process is split into two stages – Composting & Curing. Composting lasts for 12-14 days & Curing 24 Days.
